LoTech Ethos
"We are passionate about producing a devices that will benefit people, not purely focussing on profit. We wrote this ethos in 2023, at the very start of our journey and we refer to it routinely when decision making and developing. We deciced to publish it here for transparency. It's not particularly complex. And it shouldn't really be surprising."
1. Basis in reality
LoTech strives to help you get things done in the real world, with real people. Our device is a tool for life and we encourage interaction with people, art and nature over anything the digital world has to offer.
2. Minimal distraction
LoTech products are designed consciously to not hold the attention of its users. Time is the most valuable commodity and we believe that time should be under the free control of our users to do with as they please.
3. Honesty and privacy
LoTech is not interested in the data of its users, beyond their consenting and constructive feedback on their personal experience with our devices, with which we could improve these device in line with these core values.
4. Sustainability
Where possible, LoTech will strive to use sustainable materials and processes in our products and packaging where technically and financially viable.
